Refund Policy
Effective 2026-09-22 · Version 1
Operator: Discry LLC, a New York limited liability company, 418 Broadway, Suite 10855, Albany, NY 12207. Contact: legal@discry.ai
Defined terms used. This Policy defines Refund Window and Delivery Failure (§2). It uses Discry, Site, Scan, Fix Kit and Machine Access as defined in the Terms of Use, and Order, Deliverables, Confirmation Scan and Evidence as defined in the Fix Kit Terms. Capitalised terms keep the meaning given where they are defined.
1. What this Policy covers
1.1 This Policy is the only refund mechanism for anything bought on the Site. It covers the Fix Kit, sold at the published price as a one-time purchase through a checkout operated by Sold through Link, LLC, an affiliate of Stripe acting as merchant of record (Fix Kit Terms §6.1), and the legacy products in §9. Nothing else is sold on the Site. The free Scan costs nothing and nothing about it can be refunded. This Policy does not apply to the Repo Product, which has its own agreement.
1.2 This Policy is incorporated by the Fix Kit Terms and is presented beside them at checkout. If it conflicts with the Fix Kit Terms, the Fix Kit Terms control. The Fix Kit Terms prevail over the API, MCP and Data License Terms (for Machine Access), which prevail over the Terms of Use. The Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Crawler and Acceptable Use Policy, and Directory and Benchmark Policy are notices incorporated by the Terms of Use. This Refund Policy is incorporated by the Fix Kit Terms.
1.3 The version of this Policy in force when you place an Order governs that Order. Changes apply only to Orders placed after the new effective date. The previous version is kept unchanged in Discry's legal archive and is available on request to legal@discry.ai.
2. Definitions
2.1 Refund Window means the 14 days beginning on the day after the day you pay for your Order. A request under §4.2, §4.3 or §4.5 must reach legal@discry.ai within the Refund Window, except that a §4.5 request may be made within any longer period the law of your country gives you. A Delivery Failure request (§4.1) is not subject to the Window, and a withdrawal under §4.4 runs on its own 14-day statutory period.
2.2 Delivery Failure means that you paid for your Order and the Deliverables were not made available to you within 72 hours after payment. "Made available" means the download for your Order works from your delivery link, the order page described in the Fix Kit Terms §8.1. If your order page never showed a working download, tell us and we will treat it as a Delivery Failure unless we can show the download worked.
3. How you are charged, and how refunds are made
3.1 You are charged when you submit your Order at checkout. The Deliverables are released to you only after the Fix Kit for your Order has been generated and has passed validation.
3.2 If generation or validation fails, the full amount you paid, including tax, is refunded to your original payment method automatically. You do not need to ask, and this Policy's request process does not apply to it. Link notifies you of the refund. The credit appears on your card issuer's timetable; Discry cannot speed that up.
3.3 Every other refund under this Policy is made by a person at Discry through Stripe after a request under §6. There is no self-service refund button.
3.4 Refunds through Link. Sold through Link, LLC may also grant a refund within 60 days of your purchase under its own refund policy at https://support.link.com/questions/sold-through-link-refunds, including where the Deliverables were not received, are significantly not as described or unfit for purpose, or are damaged, or where a payment was unauthorized or duplicated. Where Link's policy is more generous than this one, Link's policy applies, and Discry honours any refund Link grants. You may ask Link directly through https://support.link.com, or ask us first under §6.
4. Refunds that are always given
4.1 Delivery Failure. If a Delivery Failure occurs, you are entitled to a full refund. Tell us at legal@discry.ai and we refund the amount you paid in full. There is no time limit on a Delivery Failure request other than the limits your card network sets on Stripe.
4.2 Duplicate charge. Checkout is idempotent per Order, so a repeated click should not create a second charge. If you are nonetheless charged more than once for the same Order, the duplicate charge is refunded in full on a request received within the Refund Window.
4.3 Empty Deliverables. The Fix Kit Terms describe what a kit contains. If your Deliverables contain no patch and no file at all, you are entitled to a full refund on a request received within the Refund Window.
4.4 Withdrawal right in the EU and UK. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may withdraw from the Order within 14 days after the day you place it, for any reason, unless at checkout you expressly consented to delivery beginning at once and acknowledged that you lose the right to withdraw once delivery has begun. The checkout includes that consent as a separate box that is not pre-ticked. If you gave that consent, delivery begins when generation starts and the withdrawal right ends at that point. If you did not give it, or the box was not shown to you, you keep the full 14-day right and bear no cost for anything delivered in that period.
4.4.1 How to withdraw. To withdraw, send a clear statement that you are withdrawing from the Order to legal@discry.ai before the 14-day period ends. Any clear statement is enough; you may use the model form below but you do not have to. The receipt Link emails you when you pay is your confirmation of the contract on a durable medium. If you withdraw, Discry reimburses the amount you paid within 14 calendar days of receiving your statement (§7.1). Sold through Link, LLC may also grant a cooling-off refund under its own policy (§3.4), and Discry accepts any refund it grants.
4.4.2 Model withdrawal form. Copy and complete this text if you wish to use it:
To: Discry LLC, 418 Broadway, Suite 10855, Albany, NY 12207, legal@discry.ai I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the following digital content: Fix Kit for the domain ________. Ordered on: ________ Name of consumer: ________ Address of consumer: ________ Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): ________ Date: ________
4.5 Deliverables that do not conform to their description (consumers in the EU and UK). The Fix Kit Terms describe what the Deliverables are and how they are produced: every claim in them must be a verbatim quotation from a cited Evidence block, every remediation task must have been judged to pass with at least one Evidence reference, and a missing value must appear as a placeholder rather than an invented one. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom and you can show that your Deliverables do not conform to that description (for example, a change asserts a fact that no cited Evidence block contains, or a task marked as passing carries no Evidence reference), you may ask us to bring them into conformity, and where we cannot do so within a reasonable time, or a fix is not possible, you are entitled to a full refund. This is the digital-content remedy that the Fix Kit Terms §20.3 preserves; it is not a remedy for a fix that is accurate to the Evidence but did not produce the result you wanted (§5.1 and §5.2). Say what does not conform and where, so we can check it against the Evidence.
5. What is not refunded
5.1 Dissatisfaction with the content of correct-scope Deliverables. The Fix Kit is generated on demand for the single API named in your Order, from Evidence gathered about that API's public documentation, and the model cost is incurred when it is generated. Once delivered it cannot be returned, and Discry does not refund a delivered kit because you disagree with the fixes, would have written them differently, or decided not to use them. You buy a diagnosis and a proposed fix, not an outcome. Deliverables that do not conform to their description are handled under §4.5.
5.2 A score or band that did not move. Discry never predicts a score change; the kit's manifest records no predicted lift. Grading is the same for buyers and non-buyers and a purchase never buys grade movement. A Confirmation Scan that shows no change, or a lower score, is not a refund ground.
5.3 Changes you made after delivery. Deliverables reflect the documentation as it stood when your Order was generated. Changes you or others make to that documentation afterwards do not create a refund right.
5.4 Confirmation Scan not used or expired. The Confirmation Scan is one included re-run that you may request within 90 days after delivery. Not requesting it, requesting it after it expires, or disagreeing with its result does not entitle you to a refund.
5.5 Changes you requested that the failure did not implicate. A change you asked for that the measured failure does not require is disclosed as such in the README and manifest, with no predicted lift. Its inclusion is not a refund ground.
5.6 Partial refunds. Discry does not issue partial refunds against a delivered Fix Kit. A refund under §4 is a full refund of the amount you paid, including the tax you paid. Sold through Link, LLC collects and remits the tax on your Order and handles the tax side of a refund.
6. How to request a refund
6.1 Email legal@discry.ai from the address you used at checkout. Include: the domain named in your Order, the Link receipt or the purchase reference shown on your order page, the date of the charge, and which ground in §4 you rely on.
6.2 Discry identifies you by matching the sending address to the checkout email on the Order. If they differ, we ask for the receipt before acting. We do not ask for card details; they are entered on the checkout page Stripe hosts for Sold through Link, LLC, not on discry.ai.
6.3 A request under §4.1 needs only the purchase reference. A request under §4.3 should say what the Deliverables lacked. A request under §4.5 should name the file and the statement you say does not conform.
7. Timing and method
7.1 Discry decides a complete request and, where a refund is due, submits it to Stripe within ten business days of receiving it. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding New York State public holidays. If we need more information we say so within that period, and the ten days restart when the information arrives, except for a withdrawal under §4.4: a §4.4 reimbursement is made within 14 calendar days of the day Discry receives your withdrawal statement, whatever else is outstanding.
7.2 After the refund is submitted, your card issuer usually shows the credit within 3 to 10 business days, depending on the bank. Stripe and Link publish ranges within that span; Discry does not control it. A refund issued shortly after the charge may appear as the original charge dropping off your statement rather than as a separate credit.
7.3 Refunds go only to the original payment method, in the currency you paid, which may be your local currency, for the amount you paid. Discry does not refund to a different card, by bank transfer, or in cash. If your bank applied a currency conversion or a fee to the original charge, Discry does not reimburse the difference or the fee.
7.4 If a refund fails because the card was closed or cancelled, Stripe returns the money to Discry. We then contact you at the checkout address to arrange another route through Stripe.
8. Chargebacks
8.1 Ask us first. A refund request under §6 is faster than a dispute with your card issuer and is not affected by the dispute clock; every ground in §4 is honoured without you having to file anything with your bank.
8.2 Chargebacks on a Fix Kit charge are handled by Sold through Link, LLC as merchant of record, which may accept, contest, or refund them. If you open a chargeback before contacting us, or after we have refunded you, Discry gives Link the Order record: the record of your acceptance at checkout, where one exists, the delivery record, the delivery timestamp, and the manifest of what was delivered. A chargeback opened on a charge that has already been refunded is contested as a duplicate.
8.3 While a chargeback is open, Discry does not process a separate refund for the same charge, because a refund and a chargeback on the same charge would pay you twice. Discry may decline future Orders from a buyer who filed a chargeback on a charge that was delivered as described.
9. Legacy products
9.1 The Discovery, Comprehension and Bundle kits and the Defend subscription are no longer sold and are kept only for orders placed before the Fix Kit launched. A legacy kit order that failed generation was refunded automatically under the process that then applied. The Fix Kit has its own automatic refund (§3.2).
9.2 To cancel a legacy Defend subscription, email legal@discry.ai; we cancel it at period end within five business days of your email. Cancelling stops future charges at the end of the current billing period, and charges already made are not refunded or pro-rated unless the law where you live requires it.
10. Your statutory rights
10.1 Nothing in this Policy limits a right you have under the law of your country or state that cannot be excluded by agreement. Where such a right is wider than this Policy, the right applies. For consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, that includes the withdrawal right in §4.4 and the remedies for digital content that does not conform to its description. For consumers in the United States, that includes any state law right to a refund for goods or services not delivered.
10.2 Disputes about this Policy are resolved as set out in §14 of the Terms of Use, which this Policy incorporates by reference without restating it.
11. Changes to this Policy
11.1 Discry may change this Policy. A new version gets a new effective date and version number, and the previous version is kept unchanged in Discry's legal archive and is available on request to legal@discry.ai. The version in force when you placed your Order governs that Order (§1.3).
